Epithelial Inclusion Cyst with Debris

This 58-year-old woman had a trabeculectomy in her left eye in March 2011. In December 2011, she was found to have a cyst in her inferior anterior chamber and a year later this had grown so she was referred to see us. The cyst was drained and the contents were consistent with an epithelial inclusion cyst. This is interesting in that one can see cellular debris moving within the cyst in convection currents.
