This 88 year-old woman had a cataract extraction in the right eye 21 years prior to this exam. She had an iris clip intraocular lens placed and was doing well until the day before presenting when she had sudden loss of vision in the right eye. She had an intraocular pressure of 8 mmHg with corneal guttata and DescemetÂ’s folds. She had pigmented vitreous cells.

Iowa Glaucoma Curriculum

IowaGlaucomaCurriculumsI wanted to let you know about a new website that I have built. The site is the Iowa Glaucoma Curriculum. It is aimed at residents who want an image-heavy introduction to glaucoma. The curriculum consists of 50 lectures that It break glaucoma into fifty bite-sized pieces averaging 14 minutes in length (range 4 to 37 minutes). In total the curriculum is just under 12 hours long.

It is highly visual with >900 images and >90 movie clips.

The address is: http://curriculum.iowaglaucoma.org/

The development of the new site explains – in part - the lack of new material for gonioscopy.org.

I hope that you find it useful.
